FROM TETRAHEDRON TO PRISM

Variable projections from tetrahedron through pyramid core to prism can be selected here by proper interaction. Rotation up to 120o is also possible.

The figure shows on the upper left corner the parallel projection of the tetrahedron with its three fold axis parallel to the screen. On the lower left corner the parallel projection of the same polyhedron is presented with its three fold axis perpendicular to the screen. On the right side the proper stereographic projection is shown.

By a push and drag mouse action on the green square from zero to 120o the projections may be rotated at different q angles of spherical coordinate around the three fold axis of the polyhedron. The result appears on the three projections.

A similar mouse action on the orange square from T to P will select from tetrahedron through pyramid cores and finally a prism. The result appears on the three projections. With this action the f angle of the spherical coordinate corresponding to the lateral faces increases.
